Today, I learned—much to my surprise—that there exists a National Toy Hall of Fame located in Rochester, New York. In retrospect, it shouldn’t have come as a surprise considering we have sundry institutions for commemoration, from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to whatever the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame exalts.
I only bring up the National Toy Hall of Fame because, in 2013, they inducted the beloved rubber duckie. Six years late, I know, but tardiness is my specialty. Along the belatedness vein, I bring the reader (and, particularly in this case, the viewer) more photographs of rubber duckies in captivitatem.
